Virtual Event: Current and Emerging Therapies for Endometriosis and Uterine Fibroids: What Do You Need to Know?
October 20 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Speaker: Georgine Lamvu
In the United States, more than 11% of women are affected by endometriosis and about 20% to 80% are affected by uterine fibroids. These complex conditions require an early diagnosis and prompt treatment in order to improve health outcomes and quality of life for patients. In this educational activity, an expert on women’s health will present the latest evidence for current and emerging therapies and offer strategies to personalize care, alleviate pain, reduce heavy bleeding, preserve fertility, and prevent disease progression in the primary care setting.
These meeting offerings are designed to provide you with updates on the current and emerging therapies for patients with endometriosis and uterine fibroids, while also addressing the specific needs and issues faced by family medicine and general medicine physicians involved in the management of patients with these conditions. Participants are encouraged to come prepared with questions and one or more cases from their practice to take advantage of this opportunity to consult with and receive tailored guidance from an expert in the field.
